Privacy Policy
LD Dope is a rifle firing-solution aid for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Locke Defense Systems LLC (“we”) built it. This policy explains what the app and www.ldcybersystems.com do with information. Contact [email protected].
Data we do not collect
LD Dope has no account, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not sell personal information. We do not receive your loads, range cards, solutions, or sensor readings. Those stay on your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
What stays on your devices
- Load data, zero, atmosphere, and the range card are stored on the device so the calculator can reopen with your last setup.
- Bluetooth is used only so the iPhone can listen for a Vortex Talon rangefinder in BAL mode. The rangefinder name and identifier stay on the phone.
- The barometer, when you use it, supplies pressure for the solution on the device.
- A location-when-in-use description is in the app so GPS altitude can stay on the device as a pressure fallback. This version uses the barometer and does not request location, and it does not upload either reading.
- Apple Watch receives solutions from your paired iPhone through Apple’s watch link. That exchange stays between your devices.
- If you pair a Garmin watch, LD Dope talks to the Garmin Connect app on your iPhone through Connect IQ and sends the solution to that watch. Garmin’s own policy covers Garmin Connect. We do not receive a copy.
